The ACHA is pleased to announce the roster for the 2014-15 ACHA Division III Select Team.
Head Coach Mike Petrusma (Calvin College) along with assistant coaches John Hoos (University of Georgia) and Craig Bioni (Robert Morris Univ. PA) and the player selection committee began the evaluation process during the 2013-14 season which culminated in March at the ACHA All-Star Challenge in West Chester, PA. The challenge featured over 200 of the top players in ACHA Division III competing on 10 teams from each of our 4 regions. The skill level, speed, and competition among the players on the All-Star teams was among the best that has been seen and provided a large pool of potential players for the 2014-15 Select team.
Please join us in congratulating the following student-athletes who have accepted invitations to join the Division III ACHA Select team that will compete against professional teams in Europe in late December and early January:
The player selection committee and coaching staff would like to thank all players from across the country who have shown class and the positive spirit of competition while being evaluated and considered for the Select team. It is exciting to have such a large number of schools represented on the Select team roster this season. This is indicative of the high level of talent across ACHA Division III.
The Select team will gather for preparations in Atlanta and Athens, GA prior to leaving for Europe. The team will be traveling to Austria, Switzerland, Solvenia, Slovakia and Germany. Staff and trip planners are finalizing opponents and more details will be posted on the ACHA site as the trip nears.
